We are proud to offer our patent-pending webbing reinforced gymnastics grip configuration!

The idea is pretty simple. Leather, while a great material for grips, has limited tensile strength. However, the webbing strap on the back of these grips are strong. Like really strong! Then, if you look “in” those lines on the grips, you will see stitching. Those countersunk stitches allow us to utilize the webbing for its strength!
With each training session, look at the front and back of the grips. As long as those stitches are in good condition, you are all set! The webbing strap will reinforce the grips. Eventually, you will wear through the leather, “hit” the stitches, and they will come undone. When that happens, stop using the grips immediately!
The good part. That should take a while! In the meantime, treat these grips as you would any normal grips. Just be careful not to scrape the countersunk stitches if using a grip brush. Sandpaper is a good alternative.
Additionally, these grips are designed for heavy/high level athletes, as there is a tradeoff to be made. While significantly stronger, they are thicker and stiffer. Athletes who would benefit from this sacrifice will automatically have their grips reinforced. Others can have their grips reinforced by request.
